Lake Description
Esthwaite Water is a small eutrophic lake situated in the southern part of the Lake District National Park, on the west coast of England. The lake is around 2.5 km long and around 65.4 m above sealevel. Water temperature during winter (November to March) is around 3 to 10 °C, in summer stratification occurs and surface temperature can reach up to 25 °C. The Ramsar Site No is 536.
